Our Fishing Family
A shoreline boat, the Elin D fishes within a six-mile radius, off the Plymouth coast, using the hand line technique, from where we take our name. The crew on The Elin D includes the entire Squire family, Ben, John, Sid, Dylan and Elin along with our very own chef and fishing aficionado, Amber!
Skipper, Chris Wonnacott, and deckhand, Gordon Scotchman, are the team on fishing vessel, Sidney Rose. A coastal boat, operating 20 miles off the Plymouth coast, Sidney Rose fishes the deeper waters, catching a variety of species, on our menu, such as mackerel, gurnard, seabass, cuttlefish and scallops.
Barbican Rose is a modern 12 metre fishing boat, skippered by Nick Jones, with Euan Ogg. These guys catch the high value, prime fish, including dover sole, plaice, turbot and monkfish.
Bake Away
Our delicious cakes are handmade, locally, by small business owner, Amanda Lee. Bake Away Plymouth is a micro-bakery with a social heartbeat. Through sales of cakes, cakesicles and dessert street food, Bake Away runs quarterly pudding clubs for people living in social isolation in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
Flora and Fern
Flora and Fern is run by green fingered Nikki Nicholson. Nikki escaped the corporate rat race, turning her hand to floristry three years ago and she hasn't looked back. From her home studio in Millbrook, Cornwall, Nikki creates wonderful floral displays and runs workshops throughout the year.
Barbican Botanics
The home of Plymouth's Artisan Gin and Rum, this award-winning husband and wife team create mouth-watering spirits from their premises on Plymouth's historic Barbican.
Franklin's Mixers
Dating back to Victorian London, Franklin & Sons has always had a passion for original, great tasting drinks. 130 years later their success is celebrated in today's range, which combines the finest quality ingredients specially sourced from around the world.
St. Austell Brewery
Founded in 1851 by Cornishman Walter Hicks, today St Austell Brewery remains 100% independent and family owned. The Cornwall based Brewery produces many of our region's most popular beers, now sold all over the world.
Plymouth Gin
Plymouth Gin has been producing this wonderful spirit since 1793. Located in The Black Friars Distillery, the only remaining gin distillery in Plymouth, in what was once a Dominican Order monastery built in 1431, Plymouth Gin is now world famous.

Nestled at the heart of Royal William Yard, the marina offers short and long stay berthing and a regular ferry service to bring you to The Hook & Line from Plymouth's Barbican or Cremyll in South East Cornwall.
Royal William Yard offers an eclectic mix of seasonal events, from monthly food markets, theatre and outdoor cinema experiences to live music and circus performances - all set in the architecturally stunning surroundings of Grade 1 listed, ex naval buildings.
You can reach the Hook and Line from Plymouth City Centre, the historic Barbican and Cornwall, by ferry, bus or foot.
